For artist Bucky Covington life has been one heck of a rollercoaster ride and Kellie Pickler can relate, when Bucky approached Kellie to join him on his new video for the song Drinking Side of Country from his sophomore album due out in stores September 11th Kellie couldn't resist, after all Kellie and Bucky became great friends during the fifth season of American Idol. Season five spawned more hit makers than all eleven seasons combined. Look at them now, both Bucky and Kellie have remained great friends and still are forces to be reckoned with in this new age of country music. Traditional honky tonk country is in those jeans of Bucky and Kellie and it will show in this video. Drinking Side of Country features duet partner Shooter Jennings, need I say more? Jennings, Covington and Pickler are country music's dream team, together they'll bring the redneck out of you.

Craig Morgan Comes To TNT's Rizzoli and Isles

So good for Craig Morgan these days, Craig celebrates a birthday and teams up with Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon)  and Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander)  of the hit TNT show Rizzoli and Isles

In episode 7 Crazy For You, Rizzoli and Isles investigates the death of a husband and wife team of psychiatrists, while Jane finds herself closer to the investigation at hand.In the mean time the Boston Police holds a seminar for medical examiners, enters Dr. Billy Rae Higgins (Craig Morgan) steps in to help Jane and Maura on the case. Meanwhile, the Rizzoli clan have their hands full when they discover there could be a clue or link to a pregnant woman they have meet.

Kitty was a force to be reckoned with, she pushed the boundaries among her fellow male counterparts who dominated country radio. Kitty made country music history, she was voted the nations number one country female artist by all trade publications such as Billboard, Cashbox, Record World and Downbeat Magazine for fourteen years. Kitty is most recognized for her signature song "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels". Kitty's relentless spirit and love for music kept her in the spotlight for more than two decades, she inspired many to follow in her footsteps who include Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Lynn Anderson, Tammy Wynette, Dottie West, Jeanie C. Riley,Tanya Tucker,Sunny Sweeney and Kellie Pickler to name. Kitty will leave a legacy on country music, she will be greatly missed.

 The tenth season American Idol runner up, Lauren Alaina has certainly been through a whirlwind of changes these past couple of years, Lauren was thrust into life on the road as we know it. From media appearances and events to touring the country with Jason Aldean Lauren has experienced more in her 17 years than most girls her age. Her debut album Wildflower has captivated audiences and young girls alike. Wildflower is that coming of age album and it shows through each track. Lauren's two previous singles "Like My Mother Does" and "Georgia Peaches" reflects Lauren's growing of age into the young woman she is.  On her new single "Eighteen Inches" released to radio July 16th Lauren makes the leap into young womanhood. The kinship of Lauren and Carrie is quite the perfect match, the pair have become close and Underwood has taken on the older sister role. Lauren Alaina is surely growing into quite a seasoned entertainer and with Underwood by her side Alaina is learning from a pro.

Casey James Returns To The Opry

2012 has been a huge year for Casey James his self titled debut album scored it's first number one hit "Let's Don't Call It A Night" while the second single "Crying On A Suitcase" is climbing the charts. Among endless touring, events and appearances Casey has found his niche. It's no surprise the Grand Ole Opry has invited Casey to return to the Grand Ole Opry stage Saturday July 14th. What's that I hear, fans cheering in the distance?  The Opry has been so good to Casey this will mark his third live appearance on the Grand Ole Opry stage.

Zac Brown Band is feeling untamed and uncaged these days as they prepare for the release of their third album Uncaged scheduled for release July 10,2012.
