Little Big Town Keeps On Growing & With New Album

With four albums to their credit Little Big Town set's to release their fifth studio album Tornado Tuesday September 11,2012. Their first single "Pontoon" written by Barry Dean, Natalie Hemby and Luke Laird swept country music fans off their feet this summer grossing the biggest hit in Little Big Town music history. The first selling, fastest rising song in Little Big Town's music career was recently certified platinum. Kimberly, Karen, Phillip and Jimi have made waves and catching raise and receiving praise from their fellow peers in country music and fans can't get enough Little Big Town. Thompson Square Lights Up Canton, Ohio Stark County Fair

It was a hot, humid summer day Thursday August 30th for fair goers, attendance might have not exceeded expectations however country duo Thompson Square were pleased, happy to come to Canton, Ohio for the 2012 Stark County Fair, as the headlining act of the summer season Thompson Square didn't disappoint fans. Husband and wife duo Keifer and Shawna Thompson of Thompson Square who brought us the hit singles "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not", "I Got You" and "Glass" are well on their way to super stardom. The electrifying duo works a crowd. Through out the hour and a half set Shawna and Keifer entertained, interacted with the audience, joked and poked fun at each other.

The night's highlights included fans to join in a sing a long on "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not", the finale of the show and "I Got You" when Thompson Square insisted fans come closer to them, it was every fan for themselves.

Shawna and Keifer remain grateful, truly thankful for fans coming to the show through out the evening, it really is about the fans who make the artist, it truly shows.  At one point through out the show, Shawn and Keifer talk candidly of their sponsorship with ChildFund International, for every child you can provide food, companionship and a better life for them. You can change a childhood and change the world. Shawna and Keifer are sponsoring a young girl in Indonesia.  Among the highlights Thompson Square asked the audience who were among the couples and singles out in the crowd. "Have you ever noticed how happy single people are", Shawna protested, she giggles. She asks the crowd, "Are there any happily married couples in the audience". The crowd roars slightly, to the right hand side a couple in the audience announce they have been married for 52 years. Shawna and Keifer were mighty impressed, as they have been together for 13 years now.

The evening's set list included a variety including famous duo cover songs Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash's "Jackson" to Tammy Wynette & George Jones and Joan Jett with songs from the debut album, "Glass", "I Got You", "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not", "Get Away Car", "All The Way", As Bad As It Gets", Let's Fight", "My Kind of Crazy" and "One Of Those Days".

As the show unwinds Shawna and Keifer announce they will sign autographs after the show, many flocked their way towards the merchandise booth for an autograph and photo opportunity with the duo.

There are no signs of Thompson Square slowing down any time soon their currently working on their sophomore album.

Reba returns to the screen in her new show Malibu Country  premiering Friday November 2nd  at 8:30/ 7:30 c starring Lily Tomlin,  Sara Rue, Justin Prentice, Juliette Angelo and Jai Rodriguez. While the new hit drama NASHVILLE premieres Wednesday Oct 10th 10pm eastern 9 central starring Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, Clare Bowen, Eric Close, Powers Boothe, Sam Palladio, Jonathan Jackson, Robert Wisdone and Charles Eten.

The 2012 Academy of Country Music Honors

On Monday September 24,2012 Dierks Bentley will host the 6th annual ACM Honors at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee at 7:00pm. Country Carolina artist Madonna Nash among other artists will perform live August 24th at 7:00pm  at the Brunswick Community College, Odell Williamson Auditorium in Boliva, NC. The live benefit concert is to benefit the Brunswick Christian Recovery Center (BCRC). Proceeds of every ticket purchased will benefit BCRC, a non profit Christian based ministry who serves those who struggle with drug and alcohol addition. BCRC is not a traditional short term rehabilitation facility. They offer an extended Christ centered program at action based on the universal spiritual principals of the twelve steps.

Tickets are priced  at $25.00 each for VIP Tickets $50.00 each, VIP tickets will get you into the facility when the doors open at 6:00pm and will include a pre-show meet and greet with the artists.

 Craig Morgan has no signs of slowing down at this point in his career, with over a decade in country music Craig has released seven studio albums, more than a dozen singles that include, "I Love It", "God Must Really Love Me", "That's What I Love About Sunday", "Redneck Yacht Club", "Little Bit Of Life", "Almost Home",  "International Harvester", "Tough", "Love Remembers", "Bonfire",
"This Ain't Nothing", "This Ole Boy", "Corn Star" and the newly awaited single coming to radio August 27th  "More Trucks Than Cars".

 Debuted on the Grand Ole Opry April 21,2000  who later was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry October 25,2008

Aside from performing Craig has appeared on the hit shows of Army Wives and Rizzoli and Isles. Craig is in his third season of  Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors.
In early 2012 Craig received 5 nominations for the the Outdoor Channel's Golden Moose Awards for his show All Access Outdoors.

Craig has a true sense of self, a real man from the artist he is, an outdoor enthusiast, loves his family, who supports and gives to charitable causes and has served as a USO and Wounded Warriors spokesperson among his own charity foundation the Craig Morgan Charity Fund. Craig has done over 9 USO tours, in 2006 received the USO Merit Award for his involvement, has done a number of events for Wounded Warriors and now in the 6th year of his charity's Charity Ride and Concert.

Billboard and Pepsi Summer Beats Concert Series

It's been a jammed packed summer and as these summer months have been hot enough, country music has been steaming with amazing, fantastic music from Gloriana's  top hit single "(Kissed You) Goodnight", Randy Houser's new single "How Country Feels", Jana Kramer's "Why Ya' Wanna", and more. On July 30th Gloriana, Randy Houser, Jana Kramer, Jerrod Niemann and Easton Corbin all took part in the first annual Billboard and Pepsi Summer Beats Concert Series. These fine artists gave fans a show worth seeing. Leslie from Nashville Country Club was on hand to cover the event, what you may learn, find out Randy Houser will release a new album later in the year, his first single release "How Country Feels" is climbing the charts and with that said a music video to the song is coming soon. Houser is feeling the excitement of the video's release date. Gloriana has had what has been the busiest for them with the recent release of their sophomore album A Thousand Miles Left Behind, this music had been three years in the making, it's the most personal material to date and they appreciate all the hard work their team has done for them. Jerrod talks music research and how he incorporated all the key elements of the steel guitar and horns, the inspiration of his new song and single "Shinin' On Me". Jana is so appreciative how the country industry has truly embraced her with open arms. While Easton is having so much fun being on stage to perform to a crowd. No complaints there Easton.
