Tim McGraw is a country music icon and with out a doubt continues to bring country music fans albums worth listening to. This Sunday June 8th Tim will be featured on "Oprah's Master Class" airing on OWN at 10 pm ET/PT, the Oprah Winfrey Network. The acclaimed, Emmy nominated series features an unprecedented first person insight into the minds and live of top entertainers. In the episode, McGraw talks candidly about his childhood growing up in small town Louisiana and shares personal stories about his path to the top of the charts and what he's learned as a father and three daughters.

Also in the episode, McGraw recounts how he sold everything to make the move to Nashville 25 years ago, " I sold everything I had and I sold water skis and shotguns and just everything that I had. I got on a Greyhound bus and got to Nashville at four in the morning. Never looked back", recalls McGraw. "I mean that's what I wanted to do; I knew that I wanted to do this no matter what happened. If I was going to be playing in a club and barely making my rent or if I was going to be playing in front of 100,000 people, I didn't care. I was going to be playing music".

It is McGraw who's drive,dedication and determination who has experienced more than just a successful career, his battles and challenges have made Tim who he is and we will see that in this episode of "Oprah's Master Class"

Kip Moore Fires Up 1st Headlining Tour For CMT On Tour 2014: Up In Smoke

What can one say about Kip Moore, he's become one of the fastest rising artists in the past few years and his future is looking bright. The platinum selling singer/songwriter will headline CMT On Tour 2014: Up In Smoke this fall. The tour will kick off in New York, NY September 25th and will hit over 20 cities through November. The Stories Behind The Songs And Songwriting

What is it that draws us so close to country music? Is it the stories or story of a song, the artist, the entertainer? Without a doubt it's the story behind the song and the artist who performs them. There are so many these days. One of the fellow artists featured is Kip Moore who recently released the story behind his new single "Dirt Road" who's currently finishing production on his sophomore album due out later this year. Patrice Majors, owner, journalist and photographer launched and opened Focus on the 615 in August of 2011, her love and passion for country music is much of who she is  despite life's challenges that she was faced with. Her tenacity to keep on going, moving forward even though wanted to give up all hope, it was country music that was her saving grace in return.

We are America, stand up for our military and troops who haven't seen home in months or even years. Some do come home and others find another home. Moms and dads, siblings, aunts and uncles and even cousins fight for our country. Be there for them this Memorial Day there just a call away or a note or message away to tell them how proud you are of them doing what they do for our country, that is Memorial Day. Those who are long gone never forget, they are our unsung hero's.

Craig Morgan Cancels Appearance and Tour Dates Due To Recent Shoulder Surgery

Craig Morgan who was slated for an appearance on The Talk Monday May 19th has been cancelled due to recent shoulder surgery, recovery from a performed rotator cuff surgery has kept Craig from daily tasks,although expected for a full recovery, the lapse in recovery is keeping him sidelined including his current tour dates on The Journey tour. Rescheduled tour dates will be updated for fans here at Country Music City Promotions. Tune in Tuesday Night May 20th for ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute To The Troops airing on CBS at 9 pm EST/8 pm CT  Kellie Pickler, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert and more. Many prayers to Craig during his recovery.

Congratulations to Danny and Leyciet Gokey on the announcement of a new arrival to the family. Gokey announced during the American Idol results show Thursday  May 15th. Leyciet and Danny are the proud parents to Danny Jr.

Craig Morgan Enlists Celebrity Friends For 8th Annual Charity Event

Craig Morgan has recently announced the following motocross stars participating in this year's 8th Annual Craig Morgan Foundation charity event benefiting the Dickson County Craig Morgan Foundation Sunday July 20th.
Motocross stars Kevin Windham, Malcom Stewart, Destry Abbott, Fred Andrews, Randy Hawkins, Andrew Short and Larry Ward are all participating in the event.
Tickets for the July 20th star-studded concert and celebrity off-road trail ride, taking place in Craig's hometown of Dickson, Tenn are now on sale and can be purchased here

Proceeds will benefit the Dickson County Craig Morgan Foundation. The organization's goal is to assist foster children in Dickson County and throughout Middle Tennessee.
