Due West Taste of Your Love Song Review

Country meets soul meets the blues in the new single from Due West "Taste of Your Love" now available online and country radio. The harmonizing trio of Matt Lopez, Tim Gates and Brad Hull bring three part harmonies new meaning. Taste of Your Love could very well be a kiss off song to a former flame or not singing the blues of what was once a bitter sweet love as Matt and Brad sing in unison "Take my sunshine, take my blues. Take my troubles, take my shoes"
The soul of the song goes much further into the chorus, "I don't need nothing,I don't need nothing, I don't need nothing but a taste of your love, I don't need nothing, I don't need nothing, I don't need nothing but a taste of your love. Whoa, whoa, mmm
The raw vocals show urgency in song. Fans will find an immediate connect to "Taste of Your Love" after all we too have had the blues over a lost love as Tim reveals "Down to my last thread, my last crumb of bread, No roof over my head, I'd be ok
The sweetness of your kiss is all I'd ever miss
Everything but this, go on take it all away".
Every bit of this song is pure blues and soul and Due West pull it off in all the right keys.
