Season 9 American Idol alum musician/artist Casey James returned to Canton, Ohio this past week to not only perform for Ohio fans he gave his heart to Ohio. James took time to visit the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital spending his day with some very special children including Lauren Capo the mother of Sophia Capo who was born with a special heart, she was only 15 days old when she passed of CHD, Congenital Heart Defect. It was Lauren who founded The Sophia Capo Memorial Foundation in 2013 to help raise awareness on CHD's.  The show was not only a part of the 2015 Football Hall of Fame Kick-Off week, proceeds in general admission including VIP show and meet n' greet upgrades benefited the Sophia Capo Memorial Foundation at Jerzee's Sports Grille at Belden. Chris Young Makes Generous Donation To Nashville School Of The Arts

Nashville, Tennessee...September 9, 2014...Murfreesboro native and RCA Records Nashville singer/songwriter Chris Young visited Nashville School of the Arts (NSA) to take part in its student produced program, "NSA Presents." Young, a YoungArts alumni and US Presidential Scholars in the Arts recipient while a student in Middle Tennessee, held true to a promise made earlier this year. At the program's opening, Young made a presentation of his own, donating $30,000 to Nashville School of the Arts to help update the school auditorium. NSA is the only arts magnet high school within Metro Nashville Public Schools, offering its students the "rare combination of rigorous, college preparatory curriculum instructed with intensely focused instruction in the performing or visual arts."

Country music has it's diversity yet everyone has their thoughts and opinions on what country music is, it was no surprise to the number of fans, musicians mothers who joined the open conversation on twitter Sat. February 15th. Lovin' Lyrics Music Promotions Jennifer Smith began the conversation with nothing more than constructive criticism on what's getting played on country radio, the open topic had artist, musician Casey James' mom Debra James stating her rightful opinion, and rightfully so. Casey James fans who remain supportive continue to rise above what is getting played in the mixed up mashed up world of country radio. Where as Kellie Pickler fans stay afloat of all things in artist Kellie Pickler's continuing career, both Pickler and James poised, raw talent under played in country radio remains a mystery and as it seems to be with artists Maggie Rose, new comer Dylan Scott, Kristy Lee Cook, and independent artists Taria, Amy Rose, Jay Jolley and others who continue to work their craft of artistry and musicality. Country Music City Promotions 2013 Giveaway was the largest this year with the combination of two previous giveaways the Madonna Nash giveaway and the Maggie Rose debut album giveaway including items of album releases,  rising artist Dylan Scott's EP, a signed Sarah Darling 8X10 from a Stage It show I attended, special issues of country weekly, The hot fall fashions issue of US Weekly featuring Kellie Pickler and a limited edition Tim McGraw gift card.

September was Country Music City Promotions 2 yr. anniversary and all month long brought fans interviews from independent artists Tammie Davis and Doug Briney to a first time Livestream video despite technical issues that were resolved.

Ohio's Country Goes Pink For A Cause

Country Music City Promotions is going pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, it is well in fact that I've been affected by breast cancer from a parent, to mutual friends and a high school friend just this past May. Many of us are affected by cancer, none of us go at it alone. Our support is strong, we fight the fight.

Through out September and October the Country Music City Promotions online shop will  benefit  Team Shelby Breast Cancer Fight and Breast Cancer Awareness. For every purchase you make at the shop half the sales will go to Team Shelby Breast Cancer Fight and Breast Cancer Awareness.

You as well can donate to the cause, any donated amount will benefit either Team Shelby or Breast Cancer Awareness.
