Kitty was a force to be reckoned with, she pushed the boundaries among her fellow male counterparts who dominated country radio. Kitty made country music history, she was voted the nations number one country female artist by all trade publications such as Billboard, Cashbox, Record World and Downbeat Magazine for fourteen years.
