Country Songs Made Famous By Other Artists

When it comes to country music we think instantly of the artist performing a song or songs recorded on an album, where do these songs come from?, it is the songwriters and producers that make it happen. Several songs are written a day, in most cases songwriters end up with more than 100 songs a year to count.

I have dug deep into the country music vault and have found that these songs have made it into the albums of Kellie Pickler, Dolly Parton,  Faith Hill, Kenny Rogers, Martina McBride and JoDee Messina over the years. These songs were on the artists album released as singles to country radio that  left an impression on the artist or artists who re-recorded them that were previously recorded by their musical peers. These songs have been redefined and have made a staple in country music.

Want to see Faith live?,this is your chance to order tickets for this year's CMA Music Fest,Faith has been added to perform at LP Field. Faith Hill is taking over, holding on tight, those reigns are hard to break, and won't any time soon.

Martina McBride is releasing a new album, a collection of her greatest hits with three brand new tracks on Januay 17th. Martina's recent album Eleven recieved rave reviews and became a hit with fans and in country music in 2011,so what's next for Martina McBride?  No one knows what this country songstress will do next, let it be known though The Country Clutter Club will keep you up to date.

Dolly Parton has been no stranger these days in tv land, promoting the film Joyful Noise, in theaters now. Dolly's appearances consisted of Late Night with David Letterman, Live with Kelly, and The Today Show. Dolly's voice is more than a voice, she distinctly has a way connecting with other's,it's no wonder her fanbase has flourished over the years. Fans will fall head over heels again for Dolly Parton in her new film and Queen Latifah had a lot to do with it.

Country Music City Promotions Albums of 2011

Dolly Parton "Better Day"
Infused of traditional country music through and through from the prolific singer/songwriter. All 12 tracks were written by Parton, each song leaps off by bounds of joy, happiness and positivity. The album truly shows us Dolly Parton's true self. Each track specifically will have you listening wide open. The first track "In The Mean Time" makes the album what it is to it's powerful track and single "Together You & I". The iconic Parton is really all that and more on the track that best describes her best "Country Is As Country Does". There's a whole lot of country going on! Enjoy the ride!

Luke Bryan "Tailgates & Tanlines"
From the big hit "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)" to "I Don't Want This Night To End" , Tailgates & Tanlines" hits all the right notes giving this album real country flare and appeal. Luke Bryan's southern twang will have you're heart melting on tracks such as "I Knew You That Way" and "I Know You're Gonna Be There" giving you the tender, compassionate side of Luke Bryan. Other tracks on the album include "You Don't Know Jack" and "Harvest Time" that which describe Bryan as the most genuine down to earth guy who grew up in rurual Georgia.  Luke Bryan is no flash in the pan, he gives his fans his heart and it shows on "Taligates & Tanlines".

Sunny Sweeney "Concrete"
A force to be reckoned with, Sunny Sweeney, the raw and true gritty voice sums up this album. A new comer to the Nashville scene in 2011 came from Longview, Texas. The play hard work hard kind of gal has it going for herself and this album shows it from the first hit single "From A Table Away" to the latest single "Drink Myself Single". Sunny may be all sunshine and smiles, but don't let that fool you, this new country goddess is good as golden and is proven to stick around in country music.

Vince Gill "Guitar Slinger"
It's not country music without Vince Gill, the blues, country christian roots make the man, a true humanitarian. "Threaten Me With Heaven" will have you singing praises to the darkened trouble of "Billy Paul" in which Vince's youngest daughter joins in, in chorus. "The Lady Sings The Blues" is without a doubt contagious, infectous and just might have you singing the blues. The lead off track Guitar Slinger sets the album as Gill's biggest album to date. Vince Gill fans will fall in love all over again on this album. Music hasn't died and Vince Gill is still on the journey in over more than a decade in country music.

On her 11th studio album Martina McBride truly soars on "One Night" which opens the album beautifully, taking you on a romantic joyful ride to the most stiring life lessons which McBride is no stranger to. The hit single "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" is just that in which navigates those who deal and live with cancer. I'm a strong believer anyone can over achieve and survive the obstacles. In "Teenage Daughters" McBride describes best teenagers will be just teenagers in any scenario. The album doesn't stop there,on the track "Marry Me" featuring Train's Pat Monahan, man meets woman, it's that feeling of falling in love at first sight making you feel absolutely beautiful inside and out. Martina McBride isn't slowing down, and eleven proves to be her best album to date. The album will simply have you singing along without skipping a single track,it's that well produced musically, visually and artistically.

The Year In Country Music 2011

As we come to a close on 2011 let's look back on what was the best year ever in country music. Jason Aldean is rising to country music fame, but don't let that fool you, the My Kinda Party artist is soaking in what was the best year ever for him, his family and band. Winner of CMA's album of the year and musicial event of the year and ACA winner of album of the year. The party is just getting started, Aldean will ring in the new year on his first headling tour.2012 will prove to be another fantastic year for Jason Aldean and fans. Let's get the party started!

Taylor Swift keeps breaking charts and breaking hearts, not figurativly speaking. Swift still shows us how to run a business, this savy business woman released her own fragrance Wonderstruck, toured the world and still manages to keep a level head through it all. It's no wonder she's CMA's entertainer of the year and Billboards Artist of the year. This birthday girl will have a lot to celebrate on her 22nd birthday December 13th. In 2012 Ms. Swift will bring new music to her fans and has recently released a new song titled "Ours", a video for the song has recently been released to all major outlets. Taylor is all smiles these days.

Kellie Pickler, she's caught the eye of many and it shows, the recent newlywed, Mrs. Jacobs has been on the radar on many Christmas specials this holiday season and landed a role on the CW's 90210.
Picker-Jacobs is releasing her highly anticipated 3rd album January 24,2012 "100 Proof" and 2012 will be the year of the pickle. Pickler has toured 4 years with service of the USO, she is highly active and will surely make plans to ring in the new year with yet another tour overseas for our military men and women. For any updates and information on Kellie Pickler visist her official web site at The Official Kellie Pickler site and at Kellie Pickler Fans Site & Forum

Faith Hill is ready to make it back into country music after 6 years, the new single "Come Home" was released just this past November, fans can currently download the song on i-tunes. Hill will have new music and a new album to hit shelves in mid 2012. Lots of faith to come for all.

Rising star Sunny Sweeney has shown us the Texas honky tonker she is. Her debut album "Concrete" recieved rave reviews this year and is becoming a fast rising album in country music unless Scotty McCreey teen crazed fans pass it by.Not a chance, there's a lot of sun in Sunny's corner.

Rodney Atkins has found the beaten path in his career, the take the back road artist has flourshed musically and artistically in 2011. Atkins' music has speaken volumes to his fans, Farmer's Daughter, If Your Going Through Hell and Take The Back Road have all made an impact on those who follow the artist and his music.

Martina McBride and pro-active Breast Cancer Supporter released her 11th studio recorded album this year, she's been an embassador and leader for many beyond her music. Her voice is powerful for so much more. That true sense of self truly shows.

All of these artists and more, one I would not leave out, Toby Keith, the Red Solo Cup USO supporter and musician has paved the wave throughout the years. Keith is very much so our country music artist of the decade.
