Danny Gokey walked away with more than a third place finish on season 8 of American Idol he went on to release his debut album My Best Days with the commercial success of the singles "My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me" and "I Will Not Say Goodbye". Gokey went on to open and launch Sophia's Heart in honor of his late wife Sohpia who died of congenital heart disease. Gokey is making a difference in the lives of children, men and women with the disease and who continues to openly run Sophia's Heart, and through that time released the single "Second Hand Heart" in 2011. What more can Gokey tackle?, a complete eye glass line, got married and began a family and published a book Hope In Front Of Me in 2013. It comes to now, the present, a new label and a brand new album. It's been more than three years since country artist Danny Gokey has released new music, many know Gokey who rose to fame on season 8 of American Idol. Danny went on to release his first album My Best Days Are Ahead of Me in 2010, the album's title track first single, My Best Days Are Ahead of Me sent Gokey on a whirl wind in country music. GAC, CMT, Music Row, Roughstock and Billboard hailed Danny as one of the top artists to watch that year. Through out 2010 Gokey not only had music and a second single I Will Not Say Goodbye on his full plate he was continually active with his foundation Sophia's Heart who remains well aboard making a difference in the lives of those who live with congenital heart disease. It's sure fitting for Gokey who has a huge heart himself for others. Throughout 2011 and 2012 Gokey's focus was more than on music it was Sophia's Heart and taking fans and audiences around the world to become a spokesperson for his own line of glass wear. Danny released the single Second Hand Heart in 2011. In 2013 Danny's great purpose came calling when he set out on writing, soon Gokey was a published author of his own book Hope In Front of Me which brings us to 2014, new music on the horizon and a brand new single written and inspired of the book, Hope In Front of Me brings a sense of hope and purpose in the lives of others. The message so deep the pure conviction in Gokey's vocals radiate hope for everyone who has ever felt the need to give up. Danny's journey is flourishing in life with so much to gain.
