Sarah Darling Previews New Music Via Stage It Tuesday December 8th

Photo Courtesy of Sarah Darling and Joe's Pub

Sarah Darling is most notable for her sweet melodic blues and folks country voice, deep down though is the voice of a woman coming into her own and inspiring those around her. Her optimistic, positive charm is truly refreshing among the sea of talent Nashville carries. During her 30 minute Stage It show Tuesday evening Darling previewed new material coming from her untitled brand new album to be released in the spring of 2016.  Engineering the project, Vance Powell who had a hand at engineering Chris Stapleton's critically acclaimed Traveller. Expect to hear the real Sarah Darling, her love of Paris, day dreaming, her whimsy charm, faith and grace combined. The inner strength Darling possess comes across not on musicality, on her faith as a songwriter, musician and artistry. Songs Sarah previewed for viewers were a combination of angelic wishing on dreams and stars from her opening performance of "Wish Upon A Wondering Star" to the  songs "Starry Eyes" and "Haley's Comet" all which have a common thread.  Her most touching performance on a personal note for me, "Anchor" written by song writer Tyler Flowers.  On a more country note, previewed a country inspired track titled "Cowboys Ride" and among it threw in a song with some angst. Previous albums Darling has released doesn't touch the material that will cover the new album. Each one of Darling's albums have a little of her in all the material combined, it is this though that will be all her, who she is. What separates Sarah from the rest, her fellow country music peers, she stands behind her integrity and appreciates what's given to her and along the way enjoys the adventure.

Recap And Review Of The 49th Annual CMA Awards

All Rights Reserved: CMAWorld.com

Country's night to shine or flop, and with all honesty the 49th Annual CMA Awards brought it's usual predictability Wednesday night with the exception of the night's most memorable moment of all time in country music history. Chris Stapleton, musician and artist out of Kentucky reminded country music listeners the origin of country music with his collaborative musical performance with Justin Timberlake. The quality and vocals behind the performance of  "Tennessee Whiskey" and "I Can't Drink You Away"  from the critically acclaimed album of the year Traveller reminiscent the days of legends before his time Buck Owens, Porter Wagoner , Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams to name with the infusion of pure old southern gospel and blues. And as far as memorable performance of the night Stapleton took home top honors for New Artist of The Year, Male Vocalist of The Year and Album of The Year. The quality of music and songwriting at it's finest shown bright for Stapleton to Little Big Town who's most controversial single song of the year "Girl Crush" winning them both awards including Vocal Group of The Year. True authenticity is drawn from the lyrics of a song and Girl Crush is one of the exceptions as well the quality of good music. Karen Fairchild's lead vocals radiate conviction leaving the audience and listeners with goose bumps.  The quartet's harmonies don't waiver, the fluidity is down right pure. Obviously the snags and bumps of the night's 3 hour telecast were far less impressive. The collaborative efforts of Thomas Rhett and Fall Out Boy fell flat, I couldn't make head's or tails of it. Mr. Rhett wasn't comfortable in the element he was put in. It didn't work. Florida Georgia Line has a way with their target audience and songwriting format. The performance of their new single "Confession" was less than desirable to say the least.Much do respect for their business smarts, it was this performance that would remind me of previous live performances. Dry and predictable fellas. The night's hosts had their performance moments, Paisley took it old school with his performance of "Country Nation" bringing football to the stage with team mascots and cheerleaders. It's a country thing!  Underwood just barely made a memorable moment with her performance of "Smoke Break" oh Carrie! Her raw strong vocals seem to always grab my attention, this didn't do it. When your in your strongest element make a movement without standing still. Bringing her guitar playing skills to the performance helped, haven't seen much of it for quite some time. All the way from their Vegas stint Reba with Brooks and Dunn did no wrong. Ladies and gentlemen this pairing brings the best out in each other. Performing "Why Haven't I Heard From You" and "Play Something Country". It's the swag, owning the stage as they have done for decades. What a night of hits and misses, granted country music hasn't lost it's appeal quite yet. The most concerning moments didn't leave much time for performances from Cam and Maddie and Tae, these young ladies have the conviction, the "IT" factor. I get the feeling each passing year the CMA's throw in more performances than award categories. I'd like to see some changes in the coming years to shrink down the time of the program from 3 hours to a 2 hour show, showcasing more up and coming artists. Country Music City is a flood gate of talent, it should be recognized. 8 years of hosting duties have only made the pairing of Paisley and Underwood incredibly entertaining. Dishing on the cra cra of 2015 to the highly anticipated Stars Wars The Force Awakens script in the opening monologue  and William Shatner. Tackling marriages that turned sour. Divorce of course. Nothing was left out from a Paisley/Underwood moment. There you have it folks country music at it's finest and worst of 2015. Get the full winners list here and follow CMAWorld.com online.

Charles Kelly is most known as one third of Lady Antebellum, now he's taking the reigns on his very first solo project with the release his new single "The Driver" featuring Dierks Bentley and Eric Paslay going to radio Monday October 19th. The Driver already is getting hailed as the most talked about releases of the year from Billboard and other media outlets. Rising Country Artist Dylan Scott To Make His Live Debut At Ohio's Dusty Armadillo

Advertisement Courtesy of Dusty Armadillo

Rising country artist Dylan Scott is set to make his live Dusty Armadillo debut in the heart of Rootstown, Ohio Saturday November 21st. Scott burst onto the Nashville music scene just a few short years ago. His debut single "Makin' This Boy Go Crazy" climbed the charts and made it onto the COUNTRY MUSIC CITY PROMOTIONS One's To Watch of 2014 list. The Louisiana born and bred country boy moved to Music City at the age of 19 to make a name for himself, and sure enough did. Scott signed to Curb Records and released his debut EP album in early 2014. Dylan's likability have caught the attention of young girls everywhere,  and I can see why by his easy on the eyes good looks and down home southern charm. Scott has a way about himself that isn't cocky, stuck on himself mojo, he's the complete opposite as I remember the first time meeting him. His larger than life positive attitude and immense sense of humor is truly refreshing. Scott's brand new single out now "Crazy Over Me" will take your breath away. The love ballad has not only radio appeal fans will resonate with the lyrics of that first real love. Get to know this rising artist if you haven't yet, it's well worth it.

Dwight Yoakam In Faith Based Film 90 Minutes In Heaven

Rights Reserved: 90 Minutes In Heaven/Samuel Goldwyn Pictures

Country artist Dwight Yoakam is most famously known for his booty shaking tight jean wearing county threads performing across the country for a legion of fans. Yoakam these days has taken on a new role in  the faith based film inspired from the real true story of pastor Don Piper who died in a head on collision on a Texas road in 1989. Piper went to heaven and for 90 minutes experienced life in heaven. Don lived to tell his story, 34 major surgeries, 13 months in rehabilitation, the excruciating pain and turmoil. It was in prayer and in faith that brought Don and his family through the struggle and hardship. Yoakam portrays snarky Texas lawyer Cecil Beaumont who unwillingly and sometimes hard to handle representing the Pipers in their case. Yoakam's character gives the films heavy dramatic monologue a touch of southern sass and charm. Beaumont has a spark even the most determined family would have a hard time saying no to in representing them.
90 Minutes In Heaven is worth the 2 hours spent. It changes lives and will remind you there is a heaven. No one is immune to prayer.

90 Minutes In Heaven is out now nationwide, check for theater times in your area at the official website here

Kip Moore Unleashes WILD ONES Release Week With Thundering Applause From Critics With Media Appearances

Photo Rights Reserved: UMG , MCA Nashville

On Friday 8/21 Kip Moore released his highly anticipated sophomore album WILD ONES world wide, and already WILD ONES is the talk of the album of the year.  Critics established it early before it's release as critic's pick for 2015

The Associated Press - "The album consistently serves up clever roots-rock riffs and rhythms that separate Moore from the rock-meets-rap focus of his Nashville peers

Entertainment Weekly - "Tip[s] his signature ball cap to traditional country, but as a whole it's bigger and blessedly, Wild Ones is louder."

Huffington Post - "One heck of an album...set to produce hit after hit after hit."

Paste - "With raspy, echoing vocals and songs... Moore pays homage to the troublemaking days that built him."

Rolling Stone - "A record that's inspired as much by Bruce Springsteen and Ray Charles as Will Nelson, and showcases loud whirls of guitar and distinct, boogie baselines."

Taste of Country - "Kip Moore's Wild Ones is a commanding album."

Village Voice -  "Moore avoids the mold of the Nashville machine."

That said, I hope everyone loves it as much as I do!" The singer adds with his signature lighthearted smile and a laugh.

Happy Man will be released digitally on Tuesday July 14th.
