Doug Briney who went from Anchorage, Alaska  independent country artist to Tate Music Group artist has paved the waves through the years  bringing his positive traditional country style and sound to country music fans, currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee Briney is experiencing  new moments and highlights in his career. His official Tate debut Super Country Cowboy will have Nashville talking and new fans emerging.   Doug's sound isn't far from what you heard on his independent album It's All Country, in fact it's a more sophisticated polished sound on Super Country Cowboy. Doug's voice exudes passion and deliverance on "Believe" and "Unknown Soldier". What you'll hear on Super Country Cowboy is nothing short of a man with country soul.

Sammy Kershaw Has Revealed Updates To Fans On Randy Travis' Health

From fellow artist and friend Sammy Kershaw stated on his Facebook page earlier in the month Randy Travis has developed pneumonia through out his recovery stay due to suffering from a stroke and heart trouble a month earlier.

Kershaw wrote this  update on the page August 18th, "Olde friend Randy Travis needs our prayers. "Had a little setback this weekend". He has developed pneumonia". "Let's rock on for him".

Instantly Kershaw fans offered strong words of support and prayers for Randy during this time. Many prayers sent to Randy and his family through these challenges ahead.
Setbacks will prove strength throughout his recovery.
Representatives haven't confirmed on any further information at this time. The last health update from Randy's official website was to inform fans he'd been relocated to a physical therapy facility  after 3 weeks spent at Baylor Heart in Plano, Texas. 
All tour dates have been removed from his official touring schedule.

Wednesday August 21,2013 Sarah Darling performed to a sold out online show for fans on the number one concert venue Stage It.  The down to earth musical prodigy brought fans a number of cover songs from Stevie Nicks' "Thunder Only Happens When It Rains" and "Landslide", Dolly Parton's "Jolene" and John Waite "I Ain't Missing You At All".

Sarah was absolutely genuine, excited to hear from fans, what they wanted to hear, Darling delivered with  "Home To Me" and  her  new single "Little Umbrellas".

Darling began the night's show with a brand new song titled "Wasted", the drinking song was a different change of pace for Sarah and as surprising as it was, left me quite impressed. The melodic sound hooked right on, it could very well be a run away hit on country radio today. Take a listen and let me know what you think of "Wasted".

What could be more appealing to the ears, Sarah's own material "Old T-Shirt to "The End Of The World Tonight" and "You Don't Have To Be Lonely". It wouldn't be Darling fashion without  Sarah giving much love to the fans, wanting to hear from them and all of them gave well deserved tips and they did tip well, the top 5 tippers would receive some nice prizes and all tippers of the night would receive the remix version of "Little Umbrellas". In the 40 minute show Sarah Darling sure didn't disappoint, the fans were only wanting more, Sarah tells them "We'll have to do this again sometime", and thanked the highest tippers for their support and for everyone coming online for the show, sending them blessings and a good week ahead.

Sarah Darling couldn't be more darling and gracious, her appeal to country music fans and her most loyal fan base come by the groves. Darling will be around for years to come.

Her strong efforts, support and activism has left an impact on survivors, co-survivors battling the disease and those closest to her. Pickler's best friend and sister Summer Miller under went surgery and several treatments over a year ago, the bond of these two have grown much stronger and that love surely shows. Kellie continues her path and support in breast cancer awareness through several benefits and as we come closer to Breast Cancer Awareness month Kellie Pickler will perform for the cause at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena Sunday September 29,2013 in Huntington, West Virginia The Path to the Cure Benefit Concert,the pink ribbon fund.
The event will begin with a 5k walk/run in downtown Huntington, registered participants can attend the concert for free. For those not participating tickets are $27.00
The concert will follow the race at 5:00 pm.

Since his move from Anchorage, Alaska to Nashville, Tennessee Tate Music Group artist Doug Briney has finally reached a cross roads in his career, with a debut album ready to be released in October Doug has revealed the official cover art of the album and a snippet of his brand new single "Super Country Cowboy" that is of the name of the album. "Super Country Cowboy" is a far cry from Doug's previous work, though his positive approach remains the same without steering into a complete new direction. Briney's positive country approach with fans will earn him new fans as he beckons on the release date yet to be confirmed.

What you get from Briney is all heart, a true cowboy, who loves to take chances on his style of music. Country music isn't all twang and honky tonk, it is telling a story as real as it is, fun and uplifting. Sunny Sweeney Gives StageIt Shows New Meaning: Live Recap 8-5-13

 Where there is Sunny Sweeney there is a whole lot of laughs and good times. During Monday night's monthly StageIt show Sunny discusses the new album, gives fans a behind the scenes look and fan request performances from "Carolina", "Amy", "Drink Myself Single",  and Staying Is Worse Than Leaving". Sweeney and her band mates Joanna and Jake along with studio and crew were well on deck though you could hear the crew from beyond the camera, at one point Sunny moves the camera screen to zoom in on the faces of the crew, nice looking group I must say. The studio Sunny is currently recording in has been used from other names in country music. Watch the video here to find out who's recorded in the studio.

The night's top 3 tippers we're well in for a treat, a surprise from Sunny herself. The money raised in tips will be donated to benefit Camp C.O.P.E a non-profit organization located in Dallas, Texas.

Fans came in to Stage It from New York, Dripping Springs, TX to surrounding towns and areas in Texas and Ohio. The versatility and variety of the 35 minute show proved to be a party, Sunny's first performance to start it off "Used Cars" a brand new song that may end up as a track on the new album. Fans loved this love song and the only love song Sunny proclaimed, announced.
Questions from the fans were flying by the groves, one question directed was in fact what the title of the album will be, unfortunately this was a question Sunny wanted to answer however advised to keep secret. Fans will have to wait on the answer for awhile. Many other song requests flew in and one request was "Mama Tried" from icon and legend Merle Haggard.  Sunny's southern twang was tride and true on the cover song.
Many wanted to hear a Radney Foster song, however, Sunny didn't know the song that is when she mentioned Radney and Sunny wrote together "Staying Is Worse Than Leaving". Songwriters are the key essential in success of a song and Staying Is Worse Than Leaving is a true success. The last song request of the evening " LaDeDa" which fans heard the first time in July's StageIt show. Sunny wrote this catchy song with the Warren Brothers who've had numerous success with artists Toby Keith, Casey James, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Little Big Town and many others. Sunny's evening was just getting started as she continues to work endless hours in the studio to record for the new album.
It is always well worth the time spent with Sweeney, you never know what she will say or do.

Breaking News! Randy Travis Released From Hospital

After suffering from a heart infection and a stroke in early July Randy Travis is recovering from congestive heart failure.From a press release statement early today Travis' fiancee Mary Davis announced Randy has been cleared and released from Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas. Randy will begin therapy and rehabilitation. “Thanks to all the fans and friends for your continued prayers and support as Randy continues on the road to recovery,”

It was touch and go from Randy since he was admitted July 7th, and now that is he is recovering many prayers continue for him and his family during this time.

Many prayers for the Travis family and extended families from Country Music City Promotions.

October Hill Scheduled For 3rd and Lindsley August 7,2013

One's story isn't much different than October Hill's, country music's newest duo coming out of Nashville, Tennessee. Though Trey and Lori Beth Hill have years of experience lighting up the stage, together their magnifying bringing their country, rock, arena flare to clubs, bars, and venues. Trey's beginnings began with the grammy nominated Christian rock group SonicFlOOd that led him to bigger gigs touring with Jessica Simpson, Kellie Pickler, Brad Paisley, Scotty McCreery, Jason Michael Carroll, and country music new comer Jana Kramer to many others in the business. Trey's better half Lori Beth as well hails from the southern state, the little town of Troy, North Carolina. The powerhouse vocalist was once an American Idol contestant, though her American Idol days are long gone I wouldn't hear any complaints, Lori Beth moved on as a back round vocalist for season 3 place finisher Kimberly Locke from 2007 to 2011 to her now gig as the multi-talented artist with Nashville's General Jackson Showboat. Lori Beth's pure vocal richness grit and grasp has true appeal, it oozes flare.
October Hill will sure give country fans something to talk about with their country soul rock sound, though don't classify the duo as a country pop act, their far from it.  Their modern day country sound is pure soul and you will hear it on their up and coming 6 song EP already upon completion, Trey and Lori Beth teamed with hit producer/songwriter Jimmy Ritchey who's recorded,produced, and written for Vince Gill, Sara Evans, Randy Travis, Randy Owen, Lee Ann Womack, Lonestar's Richie McDonald, Clay Walker, Mark Chestnutt, Joe Nichols and Jake Owen. Ritchey has currently worked with Terri Clark and Blaine Larsen for new projects on Sony BMG Records. I say Trey and Lori Beth were in good hands in the studio with Ritchey. October Hill's sound will no doubt bring something new out of the gates of Nashville and even blow a little smoke. Along the way in their careers Trey and Lori Beth have endured what every artist has gained a true sense of self and making it on their terms.
